Limestone Pavers & Tiles

Limestone is widely used in the building industry for flooring, walls and bench tops. Natural limestone comes in many different colours and qualities and this determines its final use. Here at Edward’s Slate and Stone, we’ve imported pavers and tiles since 1970. While the type and colour of the limestone has varied over the years, the popularity has never waned. This is because the type of limestone we sell is very hard, (not at all like some of the softer varieties quarried locally). The hardness and density also mean the stone is very easy to maintain and responds well to cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner. The slip resistant characteristics are due to the stone being split by hand, this is called a natural cleft finish. Our pavers are then cut into traditional tile sizes, suitable for pool surrounds, patios and driveways. We now provide cut to paver thickness which can be laid directly into sand or crusher dust. Paving stones and are another easy to use natural limestone product and creates an instant garden path and the best part is that they are very cost effective.
